The Ferrari 458 Italia is a mid-engined sports car produced by the Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari. It was first unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The 458 was the first car that incorporated technologies developed by Ferrari for their Formula One cars.
The 458 has a 4.5 liter V8 Ferrari engine generating 562 horsepower at 9,000 redline rpm. The engine features direct fuel injection and is the first mid-engine setup in its road cars. It has a dual-clutch 7 speed Getrag gearbox and can accelerate from 1 to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds. The top speed is 202 mph.
